Which looks best: C6 or C7 Corvette?

Strictly based on exterior looks which do you think looks best. I don’t care about Nurburgring times or the fact that the C6 had a outdated interior or anything like that. Looks only which is best?

I find the C6 Especially a blue ZR1 is the best looking Corvette ever made. I find the C7 to be too busy,too many angles,too many black vents and not enough clean lines

I don’t agree. Both look good, but in a generic ‘modern sports car’ kind of way. The car you buy because you’d like a Ferrari but can’t afford one. The C1 and C2 look better/more interesting to me.

C6 definitely. Best coke-bottle lines since early C3, and not bloated like C5.

The lines are cleaner, the profile is sleek, yet traditional, and everything looks like it belongs on the same car. ESPECIALLY with the blacked out (CF in the ZR1’s case) b-pillar hoop.

I’d take a 6-speed GS (especially in JetStream Blue, with said blacked out b-pillar, and perhaps the fender gill slats wrapped red, as a nod to the Grand Sport heritage. The roadster looks great, too.

C7 is trying too hard to look angular, with knife-edged brutal, ungracious lines and a floating A-pillar, like it is trying to be a 2-seat-2WD alternative to R35 GT-R.

I will say that the C7 is a nice car, but ZO6 and ZR1 C6s just look better to me; the only thing that spoils them is the clear square on the zr1s hood

C6 vs C7 only, i’d have to go with the C7 Z06. It just looks more aggressive, more manly.

The C6 never did appeal to me. It was too swoopy, to many soft curves.... girly.

I probably wouldn’t buy either one though.

I agree. When it came out I thought “that has an interesting look” A year and a half later and I’m already tired of it.

The C6 is now 10 years old and I still love it.

The C7 is striking and attention-getting, but not beautiful. I could possibly own a C7, but only in all black to hide everything. The C6 looks fantastic, especially in Grand Sport or Z06 trim, but I’m not sure if I could live with the interior. I can be picky when it comes to ergonomics and materials...

And fwiw, I’d probably choose black for the C6, too.

I’ll give you that. There are plenty of cars that I don’t initially like the design of, but after I learn how capable they are or how much fun they are to drive, I’ll end up attracted to them in the long run. See: old WRXs and EVOs.

I think they look fine on the Corvette BUT they get overused elsewhere which has ruined them for me. I would not want them on mine.
